Ok we’re definitely gonna be there. If no one else turns up we’re just gonna get some grub. We’ll be there from about 5.30pm. As much as I hate all things British ( 🙂 ) I do think their menu looks good. ---

Be sure to raise a glass to Cecil: “We who are about to trivialize, salute you!” ---

We’re here. BMalion, elmwoood, An Gadai and wife, and me. They came in second in the quiz…but it was over before I got here. They did win some beer glasses… Next week we’ll do better. ---

we’d have gotten first place but most of the questions focused on college football, darn the luck. Who’d have thought? Luckily **elmwood** brought his laptop and looked up all the answers. EXCEPT the questions about geography, damn! I’ve never seen anyone answer so many so fast in the lightning round, _boom, boom, boom!_ his pencil flew and his hand was a blur. That’s how we got the beer glasses. ---

Next Monday night…and there MIGHT be a late appearance by the wily and elusive Lillith Fair…not making any promises, but… oh, and another link to the December/January phots, in case you can’t find the other thread… [DopeFest pictures](http://www.flickr.com/photos/16840344@N05/sets/72157603670010304/) ---

Er, now that I realized exactly where you’re all talking about, I guess you’ll have to count me out. That’s a too much of a logistical nightmare for a Monday night trying to get all my work done and travel that far. Let me know when you’re a little farther south. And how’s about starting a new thread? 😛 ---
… And how’s about starting a new thread? 😛
Ask, and ye shall [recieve.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=9349352#post9349352) And it’s no big drive. I used to live in Akron, it would be about 45 minutes. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/cleveland-westside-halloween-dopefest/421255.md?page=5)
