They sure are. Cliches are so cliche. But people just seem to latch onto them like white on rice. I’m seriously over it. Every time someone uses one I’m like, “Stick a fork in me, I’m done”. I think I’m just going to have to get used to it though, because nothing changes if nothing changes, kwim? ETA, don’t get me wrong, everyone has a right to use them. It’s a free country after all. ---
