I love the trope where some cocky newbie realizes that this shit is far more real/dangerous/complicated than he thought. Extra points if said realization ends up killing him. :slight_smile:

the bad guy who proves just thorough of a baddie he is by killing one of his own.
The guy who realizes he has been double-crossed (usually by opening a drawer / safe / box to gasp find it empty), falls to both knees, and despite the fact that he’s in an empty room shakes both fists, looks skyward and shouts. “SMIIIIIIITH!”

Extra points if the next scene is Smith chuckling and driving away, in a convertible.
