# click counts

i vaguely remember that some boards are able to display the number of times a link is clicked. is the board capable of doing that? if so would it be a fuss to turn it on? if not nevermind.

Every thread already has the number of times it’s been viewed listed in the far right box of the forum.

oh i mean links in posts. for example, knowing how many times [this](http://www.videogamelibrarian.com/) is clicked on might be interesting in a MPSIMS way.

It would, but I have stat tracking on my site so I know how many times it’s been clicked from the SDMB. It’s a lot. Thanks guys. 😃

Some visitors to our office showed us a program that can show visually how many times and exactly (to the pixel) where a site has been clicked… A typical site looks like a mess of coloured dots.

Useful for giving an instant idea of where people go on your site.
