I came across a thread on a different message board, that was organizing a student led campaign to have people click on particular candidates click through on-line advertising to cause their campaign ad costs to go up. This was a political effort to assist in defunding this particular candidates campaign. There was even suggestions to create bot driven clicking to even further enhance their efforts.

Is this type of effort possible?
