# Cliff Richard? INDIAN! and other ethnic/minority celebrity appropriations

I also can’t help but wonder what would have happened to us under Nazism if my branch of the family had remained in Germany. How would we have fit, how would _I_ have fit under the racial purity laws? My Grandfather, Mark Schneider (USMC) died in 1944 in Saipan. I speak German, I lived in Germany for a time.  
Weird, the psychic underflow.

Whoa. Is he Indian by parentage, or is he the child of European expats?

I’d guess, from the circumstances, that he’s of an Indian mother and British father.
