His 5 million or so most fanatical supporters will certainly give a fuck. Go read some Donald forums, lots of his crazies are talking about buying guns and ammo and “taking back the country” if Trump loses. Yes seriously. If Trump denies the legitimacy of the Clinton government there will be at least some incidents of violence by his supporters and people will die.

You won’t care if Trump tells his supporters that the election was a fraud and that they shouldn’t accept the electoral results?

You think people want to vote for a president whose commitment to the Constitution is as shallow as, “If it lets me win I’m for it, otherwise the Constitution is unfair. Sad!”

I would hope most Trump supporters will support the election regardless of what Trump says.

His long history of making outrageous statements will dilute what he says about the election results. He’s cried wolf too many times.

But, there will be a group of hardcover supporters that will listen to his every word. How big that group will be remains to be seen

That’s why I hope the National press doesn’t give Trump a pulpit to rip this country down. They have to be responsible and decide when he should be ignored.

(bolding mine)

Yes, well, most of us would hope that someone like Mr. Trump would never be one of the two finalists for the most powerful office in the world and yet here we are.

I never said Trump would follow decorum. Historically candidates do graciously concede.

I don’t expect Trump to do the right thing. Unless outside pressures require him to. He may concede to try and save the The Trump brand. His family might convince him.

Let’s hope so.

I specifically mentioned the National press.

Tabloids, social media, and talk shows will cover Trump no matter what.

He’ll have a way to speak and exercise his rights. I hope the National press will be responsible and not give him a pulpit to spew his poison on the National news.

I doubt even Fox will cover Trump after the election. Trump has hurt the GOP and conservatives too much.

trump tv has launched. He’ll have a platform no matter what.

He put a live stream on Facebook is all I’ve read. That’s not really a launch. It definitely doesn’t have anyone on television backing it yet.

Trump won’t have the backing of the GOP. Ryan and other leaders ha ve already distanced themselves.

Trump may cost the GOP The House majority. That would end all party support for him.

What’s he going to do? Create the Trump Party?

Trump better focus on salvaging The Trump brand. Or his kids won’t have a major corporation to inherit.

I believe it was part of a comedy routine, introducing Amy Schumer. The far right does not really “get” comedy. It scares them.

Nobody said anything about keeping secrets. Rather, i don’t think it is the resonsibility of the press to publicize anyone (for example) calling an obviously fair election “rigged” and (hopefully not) calling for supporters to take up arms.

I can’t wait for the next few days, and every Republican house candidate being asked if they will respect the results of the presidential election, or if they will join the Trump Party.
