Y’all should be following the pro-Trump subs around the internet, just to get an idea of how the other 40% of the country lives. They were doing OK until the Pussy Grabbing comments, but now it’s an indecipherable, horrifying mess. Trump is favored to win by 87% and Nate Silver is an unscientific hack paid for by the DNC, Hillary and Soros are going to pay Black Lives Matter to poll watch, the Trump family could fit in any BBQ in America (they’re so relatable), even after Trump wins they’re still going to be at war with American media, etc… etc. Don’t see how this genie gets back into the bottle. ---

Anyway, I expect Trump’s arc to be shorter, for one simple reason: after 2008, Palin still represented The Future to many conservatives, and her expected 2012 run was eagerly anticipated by many on that side of the spectrum. Trump doesn’t have that going for him, obviously. After the election, when it becomes clear he doesn’t have any new direction to lead them in, his fanboys will throw him away like last week’s magazines. ---

And he delivered a line about “ripping babies out of vaginas”, solely to set her up for a comeback. And he asked what the heck she’d been doing for the last thirty years, solely to cue her enthusiastic reply. And the answer is, well, you _don’t_, really; you pretty much just put it out there, and let the joke be her response: “Chris, what he has just said is horrifying.
