Dems have filed papers with the court charging failure to comply with consent order. Show websites issuing ID badges. True or not, Trumps rally boast about having cops involved to watch, could cost them dearly. The RNC must be livid! It was due to expire in 2017. After 35 yrs. And now it could be extended! ---

He’s making a public statement because he thinks it can help him somehow. It might just be the GOP telling him he needs to toe the line and publicly humble himself, or he might get a primary challenge next go around. ---

Then again, if the FEC were to go after all the charitable organizations and churches that bend the rules in this way, the Yale Record would be at the back of an enormously long line. ---
