There can’t be polls that were taken after this story became public. We’ll maybe have an idea Monday or Tues if this is affecting the polls. ---

While I have little doubt this will affect her numbers, this story just broke less than 24 hours ago. How can there be reliable numbers already? ---

There are apparently some voters(about 5%) who swing with every little news story, if the poll movements are any indication. ---

RCP 4-way average says 3.8 this morning. If was just quoting one poll, I’d be like, “Clinton down by 2! Trump is leading!” just because I like to scare y’all. ---

He’s gone two weeks without saying anything truly damaging before. If I’m his campaign team, I send him off to Vanuatu without telling the media. Beats Clinton hiding in her plane for hours yesterday. ---

Yeah the race was definitely narrowing before this news. In the electoral college Trump is now within 2.5% in most of the states he needs on RCP. I could see this knocking off a point maybe even two but Hillary will still probably pull through: a) She has already banked in a significant number of early votes. b) Her advantage in ground game, ad spend and surrogates remains enormous c) She still has a blue wall left. Trump has closed in but that last state he needs will still be very difficult: PA, CO etc. ---

I’ve had discussions (more like arguments) with people who insist that rampant in person voter fraud is possible, and they seem immune to logic. This woman illustrates why. They apparently have no clue as to how voting and registration work and believe that you can just walk in anywhere and vote. This woman thought that she could get away with voting twice for the same reasons that she thought it was necessary to do so. This is what you get from the right-wing rhetoric about voter fraud; a dumbed down populace who thinks voting is like buying a pack of cigarettes - just go in any corner store and buy them - just go in any polling place and vote. ---
