I think they are doing the Dope thing of deciding what they think you said is what you said and piling on.
I don’t read a lot of condoning in what you said - just an acknowledgement that this was reality. That can sound like an excuse (my grandfather was a racist - a product of his time).

Agreed
I was going to vote for her anyway, but statements like this are a person that I actually want to vote for instead of just vote against the other guy:
“And I am not taking a position on any policy, but I do think there is a growing sense of anxiety and even anger in the country over the feeling that the game is rigged. And I never had that feeling when I was growing up. Never. I mean, were there really rich people, of course there were. And this is the statement from the leaked speeches that is held up as being bad for her somehow. I actually like this person, not so much the polished Clinton.
