I say do it. It will be awesome, no matter what anyone else thinks. I am fully in support of piercings, tattoos, and other body modifications…as long as you are sure that you want it, and make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing to do it.
Modifying your body isn’t “mutilation.”

Meep? I don’t know if my clitoris growing to three times it’s normal size would be a good thing or not. Has this happened to any of the ladies here who have gotten this piercing?
I ask because I’ve also been considering having this piercing done- either that or my nipples.

Nope, it’s still the same.
More sensitive at times? Yes, but only at good times. Definitely no bigger.

Nope, my clit is still the same size. More sensitive? No. Less sensitive in that are, yes. For me all it did was seperate the hood and the clit, which made it hard to get stimulation on both at the same time. And pressure on it pushed a hard metal ball into my clit which was not a good sensation. But, YMMV.
And **Mirror Image** yes it is mutilating. Modifying is mutilating. [Dictionary.com](http://Dictionary.com) states
Mutilate:

# To make imperfect by excising or altering parts.
Yup, I have scar tissue, it’s irreparable, and as you say, you are modifying, or altering it.

I was messing around with this girl once, we got naked, she had both nipples and her clitoris pierced.
At first there was a brief moment of “Whoa! This girl is freakier than I thought!” But then it quickly faded and was replaced by “Whoa…this girl is freakier than I thought…”

Well that certainly didn’t happen to me. I also know, personally, at least 10 women who have hood piercings and none of them have ever mentioned it, although they have mentioned various other side effects of their hood piercing. I also belong to another site where sex and piercings and the effect of piercings on sex are discussed VERY frankly and nobody has ever mentioned such a thing happening to them.
How can a piercing cause such a thing anyway? And how can it be so specific? Does that mean that earlobe piercings can cause your earlobes to “grow” in size? How about eyebrow piercings? How about men with Prince Alberts? Do their penises “grow”?
I call bullshit. The person who wrote that is either a medical miracle or is extremely misinformed. Just because it’s on the Web don’t mean it’s true.

If American men are anything like Australian men, you should get a clitoral ornament that consists of a sign saying “Over here, dumbarse!”
Seriously, I’m in the “don’t get one” camp. I find piercings anywhere to be unattractive. Only my opinion though.
