I know that some colleges and universities produce their own videos (promotional or educational), and they probably feel that captioning them would be a good idea. Makes sense to me. The more captioned material there is out there, the happier I am.
I just wish that the Discovery Channel and The Learning Channel would have more captioned programs. It seems like a very large percentage of their programming does not have captions of any kind. Maybe the folks there can take a few tips from your “wimpy” college.
