# Closing the "How can Biden use the recent SCOTUS Immunity ruling to his benefit?" thread

Yes, some of us may have been advocating for actions which, until yesterday, seemed obviously illegal.

Yet after yesterday’s SCOTUS ruling, the president may be able to undertake many of them without fear of prosecution. What’s more, the current presidential frontrunner is _publicly proclaiming he’ll do many of the same things_.

And we’re not even allowed to talk about Biden – the actual, current president – doing them?

Maybe it should be a Pit thread, but I think it’s a worthwhile discussion in light of actual, real-world events.
