I think it is quite understandable to be concerned about violence as the long awaited day approaches. Both sides seem more interested in their extreme points of view. But on just a few days people are going to have to make a choice (though it is hard to see how anyone could be undecided at this point). Let’s just hope people making their costume selection can be safe and afterwards good clowns and good non-clowns can put aside their differences for the benefit of our country as a whole. ---

There are people quoted in that article stating that they’ll be carrying guns on Halloween and threatening to shoot clowns. That kind of paranoia is probably more dangerous than any idiot in a clown costume. ---
