Wasn’t there some Disney movie that came out on DVD and then a lot of people got mad because there were previews which you couldn’t skip at the beginning? I thought I saw an SDMB post about that a long time ago.
Personally, I would refuse to watch any channel that had pop-up ads, unless they got rid of the regular commercials to make up for it.
