It’s National Public Service Week here in Canada, and our Public Service bosses are showing their appreciation of the employees in my department by offering us the opportunity to stand in line to buy a cheap hamburger or hot dog lunch. Thanks a lot, boss! :rolleyes: ---

Well since the public sector has no reason to deliver value for money, why on earth should you expect competent management? Without the profit motive it is inevitable the top managers will be those who are good at getting promoted for tick-box reasons. ---

I want mdsmith or whatever his name is to come out and defend consultancy. My major enemy is management consultancy and I have anacdote after anacedote to throw at him.
