Yes, **cmkeller** , Douglas Adams was a funny writer. Indeed, **Esprix** , you do rock, and you should be proud of the success of your “Ask the Gay Guy” threads. And **Smeghead** , no one disputes _Red Dwarf_ was a great sitcom, and Rimmer was a singular character. But… You guys have had the same sigs for all the time I’ve been here! Any power they once had to amuse or to inform or to brag has long since been worn down to the nubbin. While some sigs, like **CalMeacham** ’s, are always exciting and new, yours no longer have their original hips, and often have lunch with Strom Thurmond. It’s time. Say your goodbyes and hand your sigs over to the nice vets in their white coats. Any of us here will happily go down to the Humane (Letters) Society to help you pick out new ones. We care. ---

You know, I was just thinking about changing my .sig… Now I won’t. 😉 (And at least give me credit - I only post my .sig _once_ per thread as directed by the Mods, so at least you only have to suffer a short while.) Esprix ---

sorry unable to comply with fivers request to rotate sig as sig contains secret landing codes for mothership and if sig is destroyed removed updated edited or otherwise tampered with mothership will not be able to land so sorry ---

While we’re on the subject of **Esprix** ’s sig, Esprix, why don’t you link to the thread that you’re talking about in which (IIRC) homosexuality is compared to a desire to eat rocks? It’d let people know what you’re talking about. And I’ll change my sig when I feel good and ready, thankyouverymuch. ---

Lame rant, I say. Permanent sigs help with identification. I had no plans at all to change mine, but I haven’t been able to use it since 9/11 and now I don’t know what to do. As this is already the Pit, I’ll post it here, just this once (This may be it’s last appearance, so enjoy it while you can.) ---

Woo! My first Pit thread in all my time here, albeit a bit lacking in the vitriol department… Sigs? You’re upset about sigs? I can’t even force my eyes to focus on them myself. I just glaze right past them. Incidentally, this is not the first sig I’ve had here. I changed it, oh, a year or two back. 😃 So why do I still have it? Honestly, I guess mainly just out of laziness. It’s so hard coming up with another good line. Also, every time I think about changing it, someone emails me or says something in chat about how they laugh every time they see it. I’ve gotten tons of compliments on it. I’ve hit a high point. I could never surpass this sig. All hail the sig!!! ---
