Check out that photo (above link) - did his attorney tell the coach to pick out a suit and shirt two sizes too large so he would look small and vulnerable?
If I was the father of that child, that coach would have two broken legs.
That shot reminds me of a Koopa from the Super Mario Bros. movie.
He looks to be about fifteen years old.
IF the coach is guilty, I’m all for the Pillory, but something about the linked stories I’ve read so far doesn’t quite convince me.
It’s not that complex of a story for an 8yo who’s ashamed or scared of doing something mean to make up.
Meanwhile, what WAS coldie’s major malfunction? “Goodbye Children”?!?!?
I’d also love to know his point of origin.
Coach Mark Downs was sentenced today to one to six years in prison for corruption of minors and criminal solicitation of simple assualt.
Ha-ha!
Rot, you miserable bastard.
Hot diggity damn. Best news I’ve had all day. Really hoping “Coach” Downs is “warmly welcomed” into his new cell.
Karana frowns upon those that bean the handicapped.
Whoa…reading this thread I just realized that The Flying Dutchman used to be grienspace.
This explains much…
And davenportavenger used to be continuity eror.
I don’t know if that explains anything, but it was kinda interesting.
Wow. After being sentenced, a reporter asked him if he thought the judge’s sentence was too harsh. He answered, “Yes.”
I see he’s learned all about humility. What a disgrace to coaches everywhere.
Oh, c’mon! It’s almost like he was hit by an attempted brushback by an opposing pitcher!
Other than it was his own coach and his own teammate and it was T ball ao there was no pitcher. See, practically identical! Just routine baseball strategy, really.
Walk it off, kid.
Yeah . . . I certainly have noticed that each of them is a goodbye child, though I didn’t realize that they were actually the same dude.
Meanwhile, I gotta say it was sad how easily people were trolled by that Coldie fella.
I actually am really amused by that phrase . . . “goodbye children” . . .
Please explain your meaning. And perhaps you might explain why you wish someone to be the victim of a crime.
A news article I read about this yesterday quoted Downs as saying, “I didn’t do nothing.” And his lawyers have said he looks forward to the chance to appeal his conviction.
