Maybe it’s explained in the missing 10 seconds, but I don’t understand what happened to the guy’s wallet or why that matters. ---

I thought the point was that once you die, you lose all your possessions other than your clothes but then the girl has money to pay for the drinks. In any case a very weird ad though perhaps the last ten seconds make it work somehow. ---

The only way it works for me is that she remembers to pick up her purse, but he doesn’t remember to get his wallet from his corpse. I think it would have been better if the vendor said “You know what? It’s just a couple bucks. I’ll spot ya.” ---

Yeah, that makes sense, especially as Coke let a bunch on new avant guard up-and-comers make Coke commercials that had theatres in them. They only showed for a short time and only in a movie venue. But turns out it was Pepsi, cool. Still- those film school Coke ads were “different”. ---
