# Coca-Cola contains dye made from ants/insects?

1. John the Baptist is in the Christian New Testament. I don’t know that the Jewish people care about him.
2. He was the head of a schism cult that, while popular during its time, wasn’t necessarily mainstream Judaism. The descendants of it, the [Mandaeans](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandaeism), are pretty decidedly different from Judaism.
