Oh Coca-Cola Blak, thou art shameful! In thy miniature bottle shaped like a “classic Coke-bottle,” with the cryptic title “fusion beverage” on the side, thou art most misleading. For 10 ounces of this mystery liquid did I pay $1.39. And lo! I didst find Coca-Cola Blak to consist of _coffee-flavored Coke!_ Yea, it doth say on side of thy bottle, oh Coca-Cola Blak, that thine ingredients include “coffee extract,” yet nowhere does it say you taste like **UTTER SWILL.** I go forth into the world, Coca Cola Blak, sorrowing at the knowledge that other chumps might fall for your cute bottle and non-descript description! Damn you, Coca-Cola Blak! Damn you to _HELL!_ ---

I just had one yesterday. It is quite good. My only complaint is that they had tied into the extreme drink business and can charge 1.40 for a small bottle. ---

You didn’t know it was supposed to taste like coffee? Maybe it’s a regional thing. I’ve seen ads that coke was going to make a coffee/coke combo for ages. I like it, the aftertaste is a bit like burnt marshmallow. Mmm! ---

Interesting. This stuff is one of the very few weird new beverages (actually the only one) that I quite like. I can’t stand the taste of energy drinks, especially Red Bull (it tastes like somebody melted a whole handful of SweeTarts in a glass of carbonated water) but Coke Blak is tasty. The oddest thing about it is that I normally can’t stand coffee and I was prepared to hate this stuff, but the combination of the Coke and the coffee flavors works for me. ---

The boyfriend got a bottle and hated it, and then made me try it- I didn’t like it (as in I would definitely never pay $1.50 for it) but I didn’t hate it either. It has a weird, but not completely unpleasant taste. I can imagine it being awful if you didn’t realize it was supposed to be coffee-flavored coke though. ---

My father is actually developing the bottles for this beverage so Coke gave my parents an enormous supply of this stuff. It’s, err, sitting around. ---

In a pale lager…_shudder_, I’d have to agree with you. I don’t even know if coffee would work in a dopplebock. ---

I luuuuuurve Coke Blak. As a college student, I live off this stuff. Delicious caffeine = papers get written = yay! The thing that irritates me is the diacritical mark (macron?) above the A. As I learned so many years ago, it makes the pronunciation sound like ‘Blake’. That I just don’t agree with. As for the OP: so you wasted $1.39 on something that doesn’t taste good. You’ll live. ---
