# Cock fighting rooster kills owner by slashing him with a knife in the

A rooster used in cock-fighting in India and equipped with a knife on his leg has killed his owner by slashing him in the … groin. The owner died of blood loss.

The rooster has been taken to a farm upstate where he is living a peaceful life. But a court date may be in his future: “We may need to produce it before the court," said police officer B. Jeevan.

I assumed this would be about the same death as [This Thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/police-chief-cant-handle-cock-bleeds-to-death/924041) from a couple of months ago. But nope. Kids, those blades away from the cocks and the thighs.
