There ya go – Every country that uses Cyrillic was once in the Soviet Union. There are few enough that I think the point still stands. By having Cyrillic writing on it, the possible origination points for this coin/token are fairly limited.

When was Mongolia in the Soviet Union? I was simply addressing the mistaken notion that there are only two countries using Cryillic. Yes, the number of potential origins for the coin in question is limited; however, it is definitely not two.

For about a week in 1973. It was during college, right before the new age/crystal therapy phase it went through. Mongolia doesnt really like to talk about those awkward years.
