I got laid twice today, which is pretty unusual as I have only been having sex about once a week - and this isn’t even the right day for it! We’ve been having some unusually cold weather the last couple of days here in Texas and apparently it makes my wife amorous. She’s even hinted that I will get some tomorrow too if her classes are cancelled.

Anyone else notice any weather/sexual behavior correlations like this? This really makes up for my fear of driving on icy roads, now I’m hoping this cold snap will last.

Coldness has that affect on me too. Especially cold mornings. Who knows why, just accept it!

Incidentally I live in Texas too, and had a pretty cold morning. Here tomorrow it will be less than 20 degrees F 😉

I live in Houston and I have really loved the weather we’re having. Unfortunately my boyfriend is in Toronto and I won’t see him until Dec 23rd. I have been channeling all this energy into preparing extravagently wrapped packages (I know how to make bows and such) and creating hand-made artworks to give his family as gifts. Oh, and I bought him a bottle of some very yummy cologne. 😉

Oh yeah. All the time. Although we’ve been having an unseasonably warm winter in Wisconsin, but I still get affected by the cold because I get to walk half a mile in it every day.

Oh, yeah.

I call it Snuggle Weather for a reason 🙂

Add me to the ‘women who go into heat when the weather gets cold’ list. And I’m in Texas too, south of Houston.

Bunnydad just loves the wintertime. 😉

Amen, Arden - snuggle weather indeed!

It’s no accident that so many children in my family were born in the late fall… 😉

Cold weather makes snuggling up to a warm soft body _so_ nice, and snuggling frequently leads to _other_ things…

Here in Maryland where we get a lot of hot weather and lot of cold weather, procreation pretty much stays fairly steady throughout the year.

It’s almost December; with the cold chill, the twinkling lights, annual sweet treats, soft snuggly winter clothes. Basically, delights for all the senses. With all this sensory stimulation, is it any wonder people go into rut this time of year. Plus, my birthday is in December and must be celebrated accordingly.

Hmmmm, no, I haven’t noticed that although you probably could find the stats for when most babies are born, back track nine months & see if it’s a cold month. I think most are made during warm summer months though. I noticed that women do have their hormone cycles when they prefer to mate each month.

Ms. Tiki better not see this thread because then she’ll find out why I like to keep it cold in the apartment all the time.

More babies are born during the month of September than any other month.

Which means \<drum roll\> That people are getting “busy” in December & January! Now, I don’t know about the resta y’all, but round here, it gets mighty cold in late December and January.

I guess that settles it: Cold==Sex.

I lived in Yellowknife, NWT, Canada; that’s the Arctic. There isn’t a whole lot to do there, 'cept drinking and sex.

I’m not really much of a drinker. 😃

Now I’m still in Canada, in the cold and snowy mountains. Ask Boy how much I like to snuggle in the cold weather!

And here I thought it meant, “Now _this_ is how you celebrate Christmas/New Year’s Eve!” 😃

I was born in April, nine months after my mom’s birthday… Ironically, mom and dad had a bit of a rough time, so that birthday celebration actually kept them together.

My older brother is a result of snuggle season. Born September 2, and when I commented that he was a Christmas baby, my mom got real quiet for a few seconds, and then said “no, actually, I think it was the days between Christmas and New Years…”

I have at least 5 friends born on November 5. Odd isn’t it? Not when you consider what’s 9 months before; Valentine’s day.

Yeah, but that’s just a week., and only at the begining of the window, anyway. I think it’s more along the lines of:
_“I’ve gotta go back to work and I’m so depressed. Hold me…”_
