You Scandinavians, northern US and Canadians Dopers won’t appreciate this but this morning it is -6F according to my thermometer. [Weather.com](http://Weather.com) says it’s 0F, but what do they know? For this area that qualifies as _cold_. I hope that it warms up to 0 or mabe even positive numbers, as we have some shopping to do today. How cold is it in your neighborhood? ---

Yesterday the high here was -12F. Cold enough to test your frosticles, ya shoor, you betcha. ---

**Rysdad** , weren’t you in _Fargo_? That’s either a Minnesota or North Dakota voice there, I’m thinkin’. Or a Canadian. And honestly, is it often that cold wherever you are (when is location gonna come back?)? Cause this is unusually cold for us (Louisville, KY). And I don’t have the cold weather gear to deal with it for a long time. ---

-40C each of the last 3 mornings (with windchill factored in it was -55C or -67F) It’s warmed up considerably to -26C right now, but we’re expecting 2" of snow today. “But it’s a dry cold”
