Pffft. Today It was -42 celsius. Without he windchill. -58 with.

Hello from Southern California. Where as you saw yesterday, it is still a balmy 76 degrees with no humidity.

Damn Januarys and my need to constantly wash my shorts and tshirts for use.  
Damn them to hell (which I believe is now frozen outside Fargo, ND)

Come visit, it’ll put you all over the rest of the competition. Although, the parents new cabin has propane lights and a hand pump in the kitchen - the hand pump brings up water from 45 gallon drums in the basement.

Privy’s still outdoors, though. The thought of earth closets and composting toilets indoors seems far too unsanitary for the folks so far.

If you want real deprivation, though, I bet Jaques would lend us his line shack…

Now, lemme tell you about my trip to Iqaluit/Frobisher Bay. In February…

Nyaaah, nyaaaah, **Miss Magic8ball**. We’re warmer than you-ooooo.
