Why don’t we do this: one of the local yokels picks us clueless Dutch barbarians up at a central location (say, the Avalon house ;)), and leads us to where the feast is. It’s not like we care _where_ we’ll be pouring pints and pints of the black stuff down our throats. 🙂 ---

So, how’s about the lobby of the Avalon house at 19:00 on saturday night? Who’ll pick us up? Is another place more convenient? I think I still got Twisty’s and ruadh’s cell phone numbers programmed. You guys got mine too, judging by the text messages I get when a certain national team in green jerseys knock another team in orange jerseys out of the WC qualifiers. 😉 BTW, Holland is back on track, beating Austria 3-0, very convincingly. Anyway! What say youse guys? ---

I think 7.00 will be a bit early for me (and Avalon House definitely too far south :)), so someone should ring/ text me whenever you move on. My vote for the northside venue is still McGowan’s, but I’ll leave it with you guys. ---

Mulligan’s is OK by me, even if it’s just about southside and it may be a bit packed. It’s the local pub for my office but that’s no problem on a Saturday night. BTW, why do people always seem to give the street name when mentioning Mulligan’s (I find myself doing it too) - is there another Mulligan’s? ---
