I’m kidding. I’d love to go and it actually is a possibility since I’m now in a place that planes fly into and out of on a regular basis. But the new jobby-job means I’ll have to play it by ear. I realize this may mean I arrive without a place to lay my head, but I’m not too proud to sleep on someone’s floor, if he/she/they will let me. 🙂

I have a Sony Vaio one that I can bring that intergrates perfectly with my digital camera so we could post pictures as we’re partying.
I know it has a modem in it but I wouldn’t know the first thing about how to connect remotely. I suppose I can load up AOL for the free hours and then cancel it right afterward so we could just dialup locally from a hotel room. Would anyone be willing to spend some time helping me set it up since I’m an idiot when it comes to this stuff?
It has a memory stick (same as my camera) slot in it plus an external floppy drive. No cd.
I wonder if we could set up a cam on it so we could just transmit real-time.
Does anyone think this is a good idea? Or anyone have a laptop we don’t have to fuck with?

Sue, I’m the man for this job. Interestingly, my best friend has a Sony Vaio, which I was just helping with tonight, in an incredibly similar circumstance.
