I have to bring my cell just to be able to hook up with a certain Dane at Milan Malpensa, but I’m afraid it’s useless in the US. GSM 1800 and all that crap. Cell or no cell, this is gonna rock HARD! I keep hearing the hotel is pretty close to the airport. I never did check which airport that’s referring to. I am so going to kick myself if I’m flying into the wrong one. Oh, and I’m really, really looking forward to this! 😃 ---

Three things I have learned about LA 1. LAX and Bradley are basically the same damn thing. 2. They are not allowing cars into the airports right now. 3. Opal does not live there. 4. LAX is about eight miles from the hotel. ---

I heard this particular tidbit nary an hour ago from **Anamorphic** when I asked if he was picking up me and Nen or if we were cabbing it. Apparently it is currently part of the upgraded security, and **may** be lifted at any time. Or at no time. At this point, we’re planning on a cab, personally. ---

Understandable, Nymysys. I would think, what with the increasing threats of more hijackings coming from our friends in the Taliban and Al Queda, security shall be rather tight for a while. Personally, I’m looking forward to sitting around, drinking a few beers with a few friends that I’ve never met, and forgetting all about everything for a short while. And then I shall fill the hot tub with bubble bath. ---

A quick check-in… We’ll be there. Practical details are almost all sorted now. Mr Fran ( **Alex B** ) and I will arrive on Thursday night and take a cab to the motel where we shall most likely collapse in a jet-lagged state. In the morning we will be waiting at the hotel in the lobby, looking shifty and waiting to meet everyone as they arrive. We’re at the Ramada until Monday, and then we’ve got a place in Hollywood booked until Friday. Looking forward to this BIG time and I can’t wait to meet you all. ---
