I have a suggestion for all those folks who think the Dope is oppressive, run by overt Lefties or Righties, not for fighting ignorance, are only in it for personal being partial and just in general, pisses in your Post Toasties on a daily damn basis… start your own message board and call it the Anti-Dope or something. And if that isn’t quite what you’re looking for, perhaps a newsletter would be better and everyone can complain about how they were stifled out of prejudice and were NOT being jerks (and what a stupid ambiguous rule that is!). All members can only be those that have been banned here in the first place, lending a certain credence to that title and proving you’ve earned your stripes. I think you all will be in very good company, who will appreciate the feelings you hold about this lousy place, it’s Nazi mods and their idiotic administration. It’ll give you all a cohesive bond and lots of staying power as a whole, undoubtedly resulting in many friendships and in-depth analysis about what needs to happen to make a MB run better. I wish you all the absolute best of luck. Happy posting! And no, I think you all give a really accurate portrayal of your online persona. You could have presented your facts straight, but couldn’t resist throwing in some hostility. Got a problem with the mods of this board? Go somewhere else. Here I sit with a lump of leftover feelings from “not a warning, part i.” I originally intended to post this there, but the thread was closed before I had a chance to. Just a few days ago here at SDMB I read a beautiful tribute written by a father about his daughter. It was incredibly moving and I remember thinking how lucky she was to have a dad like that. I knew because the piece took me back 50 years to the gentle merriment of my own father. The same man who wrote that piece about his little girl has since posted the most vile and treacherous shredding of a human being that I have read at SD. May no one ever use the gift of words to target his daughter in such a demeaning way. No one deserves that. **No one.** I had rather not provide a link or the name of the poster. I hope that will be respected. ---

I don’t know. I think part of what makes a flame truly great is precision. It should be specific to the person for whom it’s aimed, and hilariously appropriate for the situation in which it’s used. Most of that post was just random abuse. He could’ve written that months ago and saved it for whoever happened to piss him off enough to use it. The language of the post is strong, and inventive in parts, but it’s hardly the stuff of legend. Sorry, **Shodan**. ---
