Does Zotero cache pages? Diigo will do that in the for-pay version ($40/yr). They also have a free version and a $20/yr version. https://www.diigo.com

Diigo exports in various formats. Does Zotero import? Does Zotero export?

ETA: Diigo could go belly up tomorrow. Zotero could collapse and not be available Windows 10. At least it runs in Linux.

If I understand correctly, in Zotero you right click on the web page –> Zotero –> Create Web Page Item from Current Page, and it will add it to your cites.

You could also look at something like Pocket to archive pages.

I used EndNote to manage my bibliographies when I was in grad school, because it is so darn easy to import the citations. But I use Evernote to store my PDFs and search through my sources.

A paean to the virtues of Evernote is here. It has quite the fan base. It may be a good solution for those who don’t need a detailed citation grabbed for article writing purposes. I haven’t tried it though. Perhaps I should.
