Collecting/making recipes from various sources

Yup. I have the browser page-clipper extension on my work and home computers (both PCs), the desktop program on my home PC, and the app on my iPhone and iPad. If you use a laptop as a “cookbook” in the kitchen it’d work fine there too, using the standard Mac or PC program, or even just logging in via their website.

You get assigned an Evernote email address when you create your account, so I set it as one of my contacts, and forward e-mailed recipes/documents right into Evernote with it. You can get them into the right folder and everything if you rewrite the subject line. So a recipe e-mail might involve me rewriting the subject line to read “Lighter Chicken Enchiladas #Mexican #chicken @Recipes” and it shows up in Evernote with the correct title and tags, and in my Recipes folder, ready to go.

(I have Evernote set up to handle my work projects too, with tags for urgency, project, etc. It just works for me.)

I’ll have to research that… sounds useful.
