and in the pit thread, he was very interesting in excusing all kinds of suppression of other religions in India, with direct and indirect excuses like they were originally hindu and [the rising incidents of the attacks on christians](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=18361235&highlight=christian#post18361235)were “mostly made up.”

Yes really.

it is anyway an interesting lesson of how the various expressions of the bigotry end up mirroring each other in the logic and the expression, whether if they come from a muslim, a christian or some other.

for the bigotted crowd they conclude that it is all pretend and anyway muslims = evil so anyway bad (or they hate the Sin and ‘love’ the sinner…- I borrow from **Miller** ).

So we muslims have not condemend DAESH, we did not do it in whatever changing form (not on one foot, hopping, not in the pig latin, etc). Or anyway the person knows we did not use the right name or in the Arabic it was hidden somehow, they know this even though tthey do not speak the Arabic. It is the conclusion foregone.
