I have absolutely no love for the Crimson Tide, but they certainly got jobbed on a missed DPI in the end zone. May have cost them the game. ---

Combined with the missed Face Mask (where the runner had the helmet PULLED OFF!) I certainly think it did cost them a legit shot at the win. ---

Recall the days of yore when the argument was that a lengthy playoff season would detract from student-athlete’s academic opportunities, hence everyone got one bowl game, and that was that? Yeah. Seems like a quaint era from ages ago now. ---
