[Frost is telling his UCF players](http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/ucf-knights/knights-notepad/os-sp-ucf-football-1129-story.html) to ignore all the Nebraska stuff and focus on beating Memphis. That’s not the sort of thing that is said by a coach who’s _staying_. Take Nebraska off the list and add Central Florida. Frost did quite a lot with Marcus Mariota, and now with Mackenzie Milton. Are there any QB’s from Hawaii with the initials MM that he can convince to go to Lincoln? ---

I know this might draw some snark but I actually thought Jim Mora Jr didn’t do a bad job with UCLA. I can’t remember the Bruins ever being a national championship contender - not in recent memory anyway. They were kinda good when they had Troy Aikman. They’ve had a few talented players here and there, but the super teams were always at USC. Mora at least turned a program that was a perennial doormat and at times over the past 5 years made them somewhat competitive. He came into college football probably not knowing a ton about that recruiting process and while Los Angeles does have football talent, it’s not the Gulf Coast. Perhaps he could do well in a place like UCF or Florida Atlantic, assuming those positions open up. Perhaps after a year or two he could take a job with a bigger program in the Southeast. ---

LOL! UCLA beat USC 8 times…in the 90s. I already said that LA has a lot of talent, but sorry, it’s one metropolitan area. It’s not the Gulf Coast. From Texas to Florida, there is so much effing talent it would make your head spin. ---

From Texas to Florida, there is so much effing talent it would make your head spin. SoCal is not one metropolitan area. It stretches from central California to the Mexican border…500 miles. And the Gulf Coast is the Gulf Coast…Dallas and most of Texas isn’t the Gulf Coast. Eastern Florida is not the Gulf Coast. The #1 high school football team in the country is not on the Gulf Coast. ---

Poor Tennessee. I can’t stand the school, but hell, even I’m starting to feel bad for them now. Jimbo said in an interview today (in a belated response the guy thrown out of his call-in show last night) that he is solely focused on making a bowl game (by winning this weekend) and that “no decision has been made anywhere”. In other news, the TA&M Board of Regents met today to approve the outline of the offer to made to the next Head Coach with an announcement for the meeting to approve actual said contract expected “within the next day or two”. Hey Jimbo, you got mad because some random dude in the stands told you to fire some of your assistant coaches. Just wait until the guy saying that is the dude who paid for the building your office is in. Enjoy!
