Maybe the film wasn’t available at the time the Snopes article was written because I would suspect it didn’t air. There was another game show event – on “The Newlywed Game” in which a contestant answered a question about the most unusual place she had made whoopee with “in the butt.” For years they denied it happened until they actually released the video to be used in a clip show. I’ve seen images of both the man and the teacher involved in this affair, and [while the teacher is only ordinary pretty, not Hollywood pretty, the man involved is butt-ugly,](http://birds-eye-view2011.blogspot.com/2012/02/joseph-corlettpamela-mitzelfeld-case.html)and not just because he’s 57 years old, though that is no help. So I suspect that some aspect of lookism may be involved here, the teacher repulsed because the man who wrote the offending piece is so fugly, and the man wrote the piece out of what may have been a “hell, why not?” approach caused by a general feeling that women are not sexually attracted to him. Kinda feels like there might be an 800-pound gorilla in the room that no one dare speak about. So consider it spoken about. ---

Except that actually it probably has more to do with the fact that in addition to writing and saying sexually inappropriate things, the dude was also jazzed enough about guns that he apparently mentioned his license to carry during his class introduction speech. I’m not seeing any angle here other than that this dude presented as a socially dysfunctional and potentially dangerous individual who was justifiably asked to leave. ---

But, hey, you think he’s an ugly dude and everyone knows that women hate guys who you think are ugly dudes so I bet that totally must be how it all went down! ---

I am no fan of guns, but there was nothing in Corlett’s letter that read like an unbalanced mind making wild assertions. Frankly, if his letter were a post on the Dope it would be one of the better ones. He stuck to law and the facts.
