When I read this story, I wonder if possibly the student purposely wrote “Hot For Teacher” to get this reaction. He might have been thinking: 1. Write controversial paper. 2. Teacher complains; school doles out punishment. 3. He sues, citing “freedom of speech” 4. He profits – money or automatic A in class. If that’s not the case, I’m wondering just how did he think the teacher was going to react when seeing his paper? ---

Taking the facts in the [complaint](http://thefire.org/public/pdfs/832cf3c2d17847f7625b2228a167bca9.pdf?direct) (thanks for the link, lawbuff) as true, this seems to have been poorly handled by the teacher and the university.
