Colorization of old film

One of the most glaring problems (for me) with colorization of old films is that old-school Hollywood relied almost exclusively on dissolves to transition between scenes, with the end of one scene fading-out while simultaneously the next scene faded-in (use of this transition fell out of favor by the early 60s). The colorization programs can’t really handle these and the screen becomes a jumbled mess for a few seconds every time.
