They replaced Sulu in some episodes with a David Hyde Pierce character called Gay Moose? I knew he was being replaced by [Harold](http://trekmovie.com/2007/10/11/john-cho-is-the-new-sulu/) (from & KUMAR fame), but this is just weird. (I wonder if Neil Patrick Harris [who is gay but not Japanese or a Jack Russell] will play the young Q?) ---
