Coloured nails: feet and/or hands?

Thanks!

OPI nail lacquer has appeared at my local Kroger. They have a wide range, from pale & subtle through weirdly neutral (khaki?) to bright. I usually use their base coat first, then two coats of polish followed by their top coat; coverage & staying power are pretty good.

Toenails are always colored in the summer because of sandals. On a slow evening I’ll do my nails, which last about a week; I used to think nail polish was for ladies with long nails, until I saw some famous designers with short, colorful nails. Typing is no problem. I do wear gloves for housework but generally can’t be bothered for gardening. Not that I garden all that much…

Colors for toes versus nails? Mix and/or match!

It’s because they like it. If they’re multiple, random colors, it’s called a skittles manicure. If the nails are light-to-dark of the same color, it’s an ombré mani. You or someone else may think it looks weird, but why should that matter to them?

To the OP: anything goes, really (barring workplace restrictions and the like, of course). Generally the trend has been to not match fingers and toes, but maybe go for complimentary colors. A lot of women save wilder colors for just toes, but I’m not one of them!

Well, this is what I’ve got on my toes right now. I really love this colour. But you can see how maybe red finger nails would be a bit much, right?

Thanks, I was just curious and of course it shouldn’t matter to them.
