Well that was fun. We parked at the south end of the Bridge of the Gods and I walked about a quarter mile of the Oregon Pacific Crest Trail and returned to point that I started from. Then I walked across the bridge (tip: if you’re acrophobic, don’t look down when you’re doing this) and repeated on the Washington side. Now I can say that I’ve been on the PCT in all three states. Other than that, we did the usual tourist horseshit: that funny rotunda-shaped house at the lookout point, Multnomah Falls (beautiful, but crowded) the dam and the fish hatchery, Beacon Rock. Fun day. I’ll post pics of my mile-and-a-half bi-state PCT adventure on my facebook page next week sometime.
