All right, are we just gonna talk or do it? Can we decide on a date here and then get down to the drunken details? I think the Columbusites should pick a location and the rest of us can make our own way there. I’m free pretty much any weekend or hell, I’ve got vacation time coming. Ah, the no kids, no wife, no life existence, that’s the life for me! I was just in Columbus, at that there Schottenstien Center for the Family Values Tour last Friday. Had you said something before last week, we could hooked up and did the drinking thingy. I’m all for it, of course. I’m free from Saturdays after 6:00 in the evening or so until Monday morning. 😉 And yes, it is a good idea to pick a weekend that’s an away game. I live right in the belly of the beast (Central Campus) and it’s a mess during the home games. ---

We’ll try and keep this up near the top of the board and see if we can settle on a date by the end of next week. Well, we (the family) will be making our semi-annual trek to Columbus on 10/23. We’ll start out at the reptile show at the armory on Sullivant on the far west side, then retire to Barley’s Brewing Co., on North High Street, for lunch. After a browse through The Book Loft of German Village, we’ll take any new snakes or lizards we’ve acquired back to Metro Cleveland. If you run into us at the reptile show or Barley’s, say Hi! (At the Book Loft, leave us alone: we’re browsing.) We won’t be back to Columbus until March or April. * * * Tom~ ---

Well, I did a little research last night, very little. The Buckeyes have only one home game in November, on 11/13. Thanksgiving is on 11/25 and it might be a good idea to avoid that as most people have family plans then. So, I was thinking maybe the weekend between those two would be a good plan. The dates are, Fri-11/19, Sat-11/20, Sun-11/21. Or we could go with Drain’s New Year idea. I’m pretty flexible (insert pun here). This is impossible! I’m not free that weekend. See I have this four year old, but he doesn’t like to go out drinking with strange people so…if it turns out this is the only weekend everyone else can do this then maybe just maybe I can get a sitter. ---
