Would you really want to use a lock that someone could so easily open?

no, but i would rather have an easily solve-able combination than lose the 2.50 i spent on the lock. hopefully i will encounter a lazy theif and have the best of both worlds

Here’s a couple links that might be helpful. They’re all from [www.howstuffworks.com](http://www.howstuffworks.com).

For starters, take a look [Inside a Combination Lock](http://home.howstuffworks.com/inside-lock.htm).

Once you know what you’re up against, you could move on to [lockpicking in general](http://home.howstuffworks.com/lock-picking.htm)

If you’re an overachiever, maybe you could move on to a [new career?](http://money.howstuffworks.com/safecracking.htm)

Good luck!
