We have a “trifecta” as we like to call it of the TacoBell/PizzaHut/KFC, and I hate it for this reason. They never have any of the new sauces or specialty deals usually or if they do- they tend to be hardasses about it and won’t make substitutions or anything that may take extra time. So I usually just drive down the road a lil’ bit to get to the Normal Taco Bell that WILL put Lava Sauce onto my Grilled Stuff Burritos and Quesadillas.
Also, the Trifecta location near us is notorious for messing up orders and just poor service in general. It’s more of a novelty thing- ooh “Fried Chicken and Nachos with my pizza” rather than a tasty practical place to go to.
I will add this about standalone Taco Bells - I eat at one on my lunch hour probably 3 times a week (my metabolism, but not my stomach will allow me to), as they have free wifi, and are practically in my parking lot: they have messed up my order exactly twice, and this was within the last week (beef instead of steak on something, although she didn’t charge me for steak anyway), and the other was someone accidentally giving me both kinds of fruit on one of those weird fruit drinks. (and that was a good screw-up, anyway ;))
Actually, I could probably stop taking so much stomach medicine if I stopped eating at Taco Bell 
In Canada they have combo Wendy’s and Tim Horton’s… Mmmmm… delicious burgers chased down by fresh donuts. I keep hoping those come south of the border.
