Hi! It’s near my 500th post and I personally invite all of the dopers to relax, unwind, have a few beers and cigs and dance! I personally invite **Guinastasia** **and XJETGIRLX!** I must say, to you all (it’s my toast) that this board and its members have been a breath of fresh air for me, and although there has been ‘bad blood’ sometimes, it has been a great experience! Come on everyone, lets have fun!😃 ---

No offence, **Ryan\_Liam** , but I’ve learned the hard way that post count congratulatory threads (except 1,000 and above) are generally frowned upon on the Board. It could be that. The Space Shuttle thread sure has everyone awfully quiet, though. ---

Okay, **Ryan** , since I pushed for the idea back when and have used it the couple of times I’ve had a milestone-post-count thread myself, let me ask you: What are the most important things you’ve learned in your time here? What points of wisdom do you think people most ought to focus on? In short, make the thread worthwhile: tell us what makes **Ryan** liam tick down inside, in a way that others can learn from. And congratulations – I need to second what **beckwall** said: “I enjoy your posts, and I find your youthful enthusiasm delightful.” It’s like having an effusive teenager hanging around the house, sharing with you his latest enthusiasms – and I get a lift out of those infectious high spirits. Not to be mean, but I think this might be evidence that you need to take a break. Go get some fresh air, start some new hobbies, socialize with people face to face. 500 posts in just over 2 months seems like you don’t do anything but read these boards. I wonder if there is a SDMB 12 step program… ---

**Ryan\_Liam** , I like ya and I’m glad you’re still around. Don’t let the bad blood get in the way of your time here, as much as is humanly possible. It’s true that I’ve learned the hard way that post parties aren’t really “done” much that often around here… and it’s true the space shuttle news has people silent… but hey! For what it’s worth, I congratulate you! (this from someone who had 1,000 posts in just under a mnth or something… not saying that it’s a good thing… most definitely not really) F\_X ---

Congratulations, **Ryan\_Liam** on your staying power. I have read some of your posts, not all, but I think you are a good person and I think you are learning. I too appreciate your youth and freshness…but more, I appreciate the fact that you seem to be willing to listen to what is suggested to you and consider it. It isn’t that everything that is said to you is valid, but it is a good thing that you truly seem to think about things that are said to you…you don’t just reject them “out of hand” because they aren’t things you are used to thinking. I salute you for that. Happy 504th post, darling. Keep thinking, keep 'taking things under consideration," and keep factoring in your own identity while doing these things.
