I was a bit meh on this variant. The different probabilities of hitting draws, and having A6789 being a straight, often messed up my thinking. Maybe if I played this for a long time I would get used to it, but it’s not one of my favorites right now. Also, minor nitpick, but I noticed you keep abbreviating my name as TSIMTTP, when it would actually be TGIMTTP. ---

If we didn’t do it that way, the rankings would mostly reflect who has been playing the longest, or the most regularly. But you still get a benefit from playing more, just a less dramatic one. Your best ten out of 30 is likely to be significantly better than your first ten. ---

Yes, you did–and that must have been better than your previous tenth-best result, as you were the only one of the top three to see your points increase. Still, the top five positions on the [leaderboard](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15qczia_FCjAIxn9duqJfNKzBH9E6ELnmOk-hJr-efus/edit#gid=9543863) remain in the same order, although **Poor Yorick** , with his big win tonight (congrats!) moved up a couple spots and is knocking on the door of that top five. **FrostedGlass’s** second place finish also boosted his point total, and our newest player **Mr. Pete** got off to an auspicious start with a third-place finish. Don’t forget, for Friday Variety Night we are playing the old classic, five card draw! 9:30 Eastern, see you there. ---
