I used to commute into the city; mid-day train service was only hourly & it’s even worse now. If I got the call a few mins too late it could take almost an hour until I could begin my journey home & then the better part of an hour for the commute itself. If caller ID showed my kids school, I’d answer or at least listen to the message ASAP. If caller ID, at best, showed the name of some random school secretary that I may not even dealt with before I’m not answering the phone, nor is checking VM a priority. If it just showed a number, or if they blocked caller ID then I’ll get around to listening to it when I get around to listening too it
