[MTV News](http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1499352/20050331/hedberg_mitch.jhtml?headlines=true) reports that he was found dead in a New Jersey hotel room.

I didn’t see no stinkin’ threads! 😉

I’m glad I saw him live when I had the chance. But once I did, I knew right away he was _waaaaaaaaay_ doped up, so an overdose doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. Funniest part of his act was his slow and deliberate pacing, but when I saw him, he was goin’ 120 mph and the jokes fell flat. ☹

Too bad. He was a funny dude.
