I know we’ve mostly been mentioning feature films, but I think the best of Three Stooges shorts still work quite well today. ---

Here’s an oddity: the Naked Gun films are actually \*funnier \*today than they were on release; if only because it’s strangely satisfying to watch OJ Simpson get the snot beaten out of him in a way it wasn’t in 1988. ---

The original _MASH_ still cracks me up. And while some of the jokes are dated (phone booths, gas station attendant, etc.), I think _Airplane!_ is still comedy gold! ---

**Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure** - I catch this every so often, and have been surprised by how well it’s held up in general. The only real thing that stands out to me is the use of a phone booth and yellow pages as the time machine. The dialog otherwise stands up fine. ---

Galaxy Quest doesn’t date, and actually gets funnier each time you see it. Pitch perfect comedy. ---

**Stripes** was mentioned in the thread on comedies that haven’t aged well. But that is wrong.
